Wrong item purchased

I bought this item because it is an elevator remote control and I have an elevator garage door opener. When I couldn't sync it I went to the instructions and realized I had the wrong opener. There was never any indication that I needed a specific color coded key to sync it. The advert only mentioned that the model number matched my door lock. When I tried to return it. I received a Ra# and an email saying I would have to pay $5 for shipping and a 15% restocking fee. I thought about my loss…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

I needed another garage door remote for my Chamberlain Access Master garage door opener. I looked at the model number on the back of my current remotes, checked on Revain and found the exact same model 371LM. I was wondering if I need to buy a battery for the remote control, but to my surprise the remote control came with a battery already installed. It literally took 2 seconds to program the garage door opener to accept this remote control. I am very satisfied and may even buy another one as a

Very easy to program

I rent an apartment and at some point I think the previous tenant lost the garage remote control and the landlord didn't replace it. After the last snowfall of winter I figured I could spend $22 to make parking in the garage a little easier (it has a keypad so I had to pop out and open it when driving in or out). ). After researching which colored buttons on the Liftmaster door opener work with which remote controls, I decided this was the button I needed (purple button. The apartments were…

Very misleading product description.

This product sounds like the learn/skill button color is enough to keep buying a garage door remote. It's actually age related. My garage door is a '93 Liftmaster so it's too old for this remote although it has a purple button as it says. Instead I bought a Chamberlain universal 2 button garage door remote which works great. I don't usually do that. Giving a 1 star rating for what is partly my fault but I think the description of this product was intentionally misleading. And when I wanted to…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Can't remember but there was something

I bought a Liftmaster 371LM for my son to use in his new car. Customization couldn't be easier! I have a Liftmaster opener with a PURPLE learn button. Programming instructions (less than 60 seconds): 1.) Attach the included visor clip to the back of the remote control by inserting it into the groove. 2.) Open the cover on the back of the garage door motor to access the PURPLE programming button. 3.) While holding the remote control in one hand, with the other hand, press and release the PURPLE…

installation was easy! My only complaint is the access panel.

I have an Allister garage door opener. When my 30 year old multicode remote stopped working I replaced the battery but that didn't change anything. I couldn't tell which was dead - the remote control or the multi-code receiver - and I figured if I replaced one, I'd probably have to replace the other soon. I found the Liftmaster to be reasonably priced and relatively inexpensive, so I ordered a Liftmaster 371LM remote and LiftMaster 365LM plug-in receiver from Revain. Both arrived on the same…

Original McCoy at 315MHz - Fits Liftmaster 312HM Universal Coax Receiver

A couple (my friends) have lost or lost their remote and going home to the market it's so nice to Got the device The sliding gate opening worked after figuring out how to connect the console to a previously installed Liftmaster coaxial antenna receiver (as listed, model #312HM @ 315MHz frequency). I had to open the tube (again thanks to information I found online) and by pressing the black "learn" button and then the remote control, voila, the gate moved again! put a smile on the couple's…
