Fits perfectly on my Liftmaster 8500 with Security 2.0+. After getting the opener I found that my car's home link was too old to work with the new unit without the relay kit so I got it as I can take it out of the car if needed . Make sure your model has the latest security features as this is not a universal opener.

The price was fair for 2 remotes and they quickly coded the Liftmaster Security Plus 2.0 garage door opener, pressed the yellow button on the bottom of the opener, the light flashed, then pressed the remote button and coded in 5 seconds, then repeated the process for the second. Opener - 30 seconds to code both remotes into the opener.

A builder installed a wall mounted garage door opener in our garage, which was high up and almost out of my wife's reach, so I wanted to make it more convenient. Update 11/27/2020: Five years later and it still works great. Although we used this wireless door opener every day, sometimes several times a day, we didn't have to change the battery.
