Bright and useful, the best of accessories

This thing is a heck of a lot brighter than those cheap regular headlights you can get on Revain or Ebay. The strap makes it pretty easy to mount and remove the bike when I leave my bike unattended outside. If I have one criticism, it's probably the USB port. The connector is slightly recessed into the light, making it a lot harder to find a suitable micro-USB cable if you forget or lose the one that came with the flashlight. Did I tell you this thing is bright?

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Minor repairability

Quality light with long battery life

Over the years I've learned that cheap headlights aren't the best option, they stop working when you need them, aren't bright enough, or break easily. Light & Motion makes high quality products (many bike shops sell and recommend them) and they will last for years with proper care. I've been using the first one for 3 years now. This one was bought for my friend's bike because he kept buying cheap ones and I would have preferred it had something that would really protect it and last a while.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Has flaws

Feels well built. Strong attachment. Fast release.

Well built. Strong attachment. Fast release. I'll keep an eye on it once I'm on the road with it. Update from January 12, 2015: Out and about in the city. Easy to put on in seconds. Removed when bike is parked to deter theft. Easily adjustable up/down. Easily adjustable height and lateral position while driving. Light holds his position well. Three levels of illumination (bright, dim, dark) and 2 settings (steady/bright slow pulse). The luminous slow pulse effectively catches the driver'sโ€ฆ

The yellow lights on the side are more useful than I thought

The yellow lights on the side are more useful than I thought. They throw enough light down to illuminate your switches. I was a little worried about the fit of the elastic but it seems to be holding up well and not showing any signs of wear. Seems to last at least as long as the battery. Speaking of the battery, it's impressive how long it lasts. I'll leave it in my bag unused for two weeks and it still gets a full charge. The best part is that it charges via Micro-USB, just like my taillightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

good light. with the right attitude.

This is my first light and movement I have ever used. I strictly followed the reviews and decided on 45 euros. Before that I used a Serfas headlight which puts out around 90 lumens. When it's on, it draws everyone's attention. I wanted to upgrade because I've found that this light is only good around town for alerting motorists to my presence. But when I did an LSD ride in Chicago, it didn't give me the leap I wanted to see the way forward. It slowed me down. Conclusion: If you only drive inโ€ฆ
