Lighting AFX CSV3232NT Contemporary Diffuser Review

We bought this light for our kitchen renovation and we love it. Although the box was dented in shipping, the light looks great on our antique pine ceiling!

Replaced my old fluorescent light bulb with this one in my kitchen. Much more attractive and offers better lighting. It is also very light and easy to assemble.

When I received one bulb was white (daylight) and the other room light (a little more yellow) other than that it's great and easy to install .

Very nice light for my kitchen. Looks great on the ceiling. Pretty hard to take but I knew that from the reviews. Very fast seller service. The lamp was packaged very well. I recommend the seller and the light.

I really like the look of this lamp. The only downside is that the plastic cover doesn't fit as well as it could and there is a small gap for light to pass between the cover and the bezel. Otherwise, I'm glad it looks a lot better than the old one.

Can't tell you anything about the installation. We paid someone to hang it for us. But even then, my husband had to help hold on and balance. That's a good light - we installed it in our galley kitchen. There seems to be enough light between him and the light above the sink, but I'd like something brighter. Maybe we have warm bulbs, not cold ones (brighter). When it's time for a replacement, we'll take care of it.

We have ordered five of these lights, some for closets some for our garage. They are (in my opinion) much more stylish than fluorescent lamps. The metal is strong and durable, it's much heavier than the photo. The plastic cover is also durable, which is very nice. We love that the light shines in all directions from above in addition to the light shining down from the dome. Very satisfied.

This lantern at this price point was significantly cheaper than local shops for a similar design. It was easy to install and has a nice style. I immediately swapped out the bulbs on the 6500k models as I don't like warm light. It goes very well with our other brushed nickel lights. With two 32 watt bulbs, it gives the perfect amount of light for our kitchen. I installed it myself but due to its size it would be a lot easier with two people.

It was nice to find a ceiling light in this shape. Seems solid so far and I like that it's Energy Star certified. My only issue is that I didn't get all 4 thumbscrews to attach the outer bracket. For some reason I only have 2. It took American Fluorescent a total of 5 WEEKS to get me the RIGHT screws. The first time they sent me the bolts it took 2 weeks to arrive (even though I live in Oregon and the package came from Illinois) and it was way too short - how ridiculously short. I had to call…
