I mounted it under my son's loft bed. I glued a ledge strip around the bottom and then placed the lights on top of the ledges so they shine up and reflect down instead of glowing down. You look great! Easy installation. Very bright highs and nice dull lows. Tons of colors and patterns to choose from. If you put it in music mode, the music should be close to the speaker or nice and loud. I have studied many similar lamps and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I wanted a light that could be controlled via Google Home and I accidentally bought it. They have an app, but it connects directly to the lights via Bluetooth. I don't use it and use the remote control instead, and it turned out to be very convenient (no need to find the phone, unlock it, find the application, etc.). This kit is a decent length in three segments that you can daisy chain or connect to the central controller. The color is acceptable, there are enough modes to make it interesting.
