    Good Moisture Meter

Wow, this thing really works. I use it in my home workshop and take it with me when I buy wood. I mostly buy wood from 6/4 to 10/4, so I really like the 3/4" size. It's not cheap of course, but it's not cheap either. Hope it lasts for many years. is that you like the wood card need to keep, I just fold them up and put them in the case with the meter.

A good gauge for a carpenter. Easy to use, right out of the box.

I have air dried (2 years) some white oak boards about 2" thick. I didn't know if I should trust my pin meter so I tried this one. I set it to "White Oak", 3/4 deep and got readings between 9% and 11%. That's about right for New England air drying. With an oven I could dry it to the recommended 6% but I'll go ahead and grind it as is. This counter worked right out of the box and gave me the confidence to proceed with this batch of boards we worked so hard to route (with a chainsaw).

No More Guessing - Moisture Meters

This is an amazing product! I am very grateful to a hobby carpenter (he is 40 years old and his work is not a hobby) who recommended this to me without the slightest hesitation. There are so many counters on the market that it is difficult to find a reliable one. It works surprisingly well, with two depth levels in both metric and standard measurements. A practical wood species card with the appropriate settings in the measuring device simplifies the measurements. Although the price is a little

    Works great, good price

So far so good. I used to have a $400 Wagner that measured 5 to 30. It worked fine until my windshield was smashed and taken away. I bought this one because it was a little cheaper and it was a new company. A bit skeptical at first, but works perfectly. reads well. I've mainly used it on hardwoods like oak and maple and it's more than perfect for the job. The quality of the hardware seems a bit cheap for a US made product, but then again. the price was right. I would recommend this to…
