Bad welding glove!

These are really good gloves for cutting, grinding and sanding, but too thin for welding. They melt very easily and hold no heat at all. They're a lot lighter than the red and black Lincoln gloves, which are great.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Was damaged

Perfect fit and durability

Perfect fit and durability should last a while. I'm a full-time welder, so I mainly weld MIG and TIG welding. I actually only welded some very long seams and hardly felt the heat so I'm very happy with my purchase, thank you very much! Will definitely buy them in the future

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

DANGEROUS AND CHEAP!

Absolutely terrible. After 1 day of normal use, both gloves already have holes. DO NOT BUY! Very disappointed to see such a cheap Lincoln product. Not to mention they pose a security risk. After removing the slag from the weld, a piece fell on the finger and the glove caught fire! Damn welding glove that burns. DO NOT BUY HERE!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • High price

Great gloves for women and people with small hands

I had trouble finding the right welding gloves. I have fairly large hands for a woman, but not big enough to be comfortable in men's gloves. It fits perfectly, the size chart seems to be correct. The quality is very good. Now I don't cling to my gloved fingers when grinding metal, phew! Very happy with this product!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Null

Disappointed with the best security

I am a third generation Lincoln customer. I like my hood so I decided to try the Mig Gloves. I welded aluminum sea boats and it took four working days. I understand that aluminum needs to be hot welded, but these gloves failed the weld test with a heat shield in front of them. I will always buy hoods, but these gloves are no good for aluminum.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Ok

Poor quality good for PPE

I have bought these gloves about 3 times and the first 2 times they have lasted a very long time and were very durable but the last time I bought them even after a week and the lining on the inside the gloves were torn and quickly perforated. The original 2 I bought lasted about a month and a half before I bought new ones and neither of them ripped the lining from the inside. The last pair I bought lasted 3 weeks, not sure if they're just defective but very poor quality.

Pros
  • Durable workmanship
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

The inner lining is flammable, be careful!

So I tried Lincoln gloves about 2 years ago and was disappointed so I decided to give them another try. no I typically use .072 FCAW-SS in the field. After about 30 minutes of overhead work, a spark hit the cuff, no big deal except that THE FIRE FED IN THESE GLOVES. When I noticed the glove was burning on the inside, a 3 inch hole had been burned through the glove and I had a quarter sized burn on the underside of my wrist. I don't recommend buying them if you work outside of the workplace…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

The heat from the MIG welding warped my left and right index fingers, wrinkled the (glove) finger and *felt* like it was crushing my finger. Now the glove still works, just hard to get a finger in the glove. Otherwise, I would advise against using white gloves for metalwork. unless you like watching them turn black after a rough coat. Congratulations now black now lol

Pros
  • INNOVATIVE LINING. The upper arm has a 3-layer FlameSoft lining for optimal heat resistance, while the forearm has a 2-layer cotton lining for freedom of movement.
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

They get a little warm but are otherwise comfortable.

I bought these gloves to use as my personal pair of welding gloves, not the store available ones. I wanted something flexible and comfortable. They were both. My only real complaint is that it gets a little warm on my left hand for a while when welding 3/8+ steel. I would have liked a little more heat resistance, but you can't have everything for the price. I've been using them for about 2 months now and my left index finger is starting to shrink but that could also be my fault due to the heat.

Pros
  • INDUSTRIAL DURABILITY - Constructed from premium full grain and split leather, stitched with Kevlar thread and reinforced in several high wear areas for durability.
Cons
  • Obsolete

Not recommended

In the past I have been very happy with Lincoln Electrics gloves. Obviously cheaper ones are better than more expensive ones, you know. I was very excited to try these gloves and was disappointed when I opened the package. The thumbs stuck to the glove and tore at the white skin, pulling it apart. I am size XXL and the elastic on the back of my hand is still uncomfortable. The cuff is short, which is what I expected and kind of wanted. but the cuffs are too big and baggy. Just ask for molten…

Pros
  • UNMATCHED COMFORT - Grained leather palm with seamless trigger provides superior dexterity, foam padding provides soft knuckle protection and an elasticated upper arm provides a snug fit.
Cons
  • Very expensive
