Once they break, they are manageable.

After being hacked, they weren't as bulky as they were in the original state. In terms of heat resistance, you can't hold a hot piece in your hands until you let it cool down a bit. You can move the parts if you don't hold the part for a long time. Not as comfortable as TIG gloves, but not as expensive either.

Inconsistent production

I ordered a pair of these and I love them. I liked them so much that to my disappointment I ordered another pair, the 2nd pair is very stiff, fingers don't want to bend, they are extremely tight! I was going to return them only to find out that "THIS ITEM CANNOT BE RETURNED". I have never ordered anything from Revain that is non-refundable for any reason. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Negative impression

Bad liner! for laboratory, safety and work gloves

After using these gloves for a while, I noticed that when I pull out my hand after welding, the inner layer comes out with my hand. I have to fill it up every time and it's frustrating. Sometimes the fingers don't line up so I have to take a stick and poke them in place. I have fairly large hands and finding the right glove can be a challenge so I was happy with their fit but won't be buying them again. It's just too frustrating. I wish I could rip off the liner but that protects my fingers so…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are defects

Lincoln Electric Stick Welding Gloves (Flame Type)

Too small, not at all like the previous pair I own and use (also a Lincoln). The Lincoln gloves sold at home storage are much larger and looser, made from the same black and red leather but without the flames. like mine (unlike these). I don't know why Lincoln made them so small that they aren't advertised that way. If you have smaller than normal sized hands I would suggest avoiding them as they are smaller than normal, lack good padding and have a rough internal texture. I sold mine (this…

Pros
  • FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. This glove model is used daily by professional manufacturers.
Cons
  • unreliable

Perfect for smoking and campfire!

Can't confirm their intended use as welding gloves but I bought these for my smoker and they work great. Comfortable, easy to put on and take off. I wouldn't recommend using them on hot grills (I mean a real charcoal/gas grill, not a much cooler smoker). The rust left a mark on one of the gloves where I touched the rust, but the glove appears intact and still works great for a smoker. I can work with hot smoking grates all day since they're only 275 degrees, not 700. I've also used them around…

Pros
  • INDUSTRIAL DURABILITY. Constructed of premium leather with Kevlar wire, leather reinforced stress points and fully lined on the inside to withstand daily exposure to heat, flame, splash or sparks.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The best gloves I've ever used!

I love these gloves so much. I think I should have gone up a size but I have huge hands. They are so comfortable and protect you from splashes and hot metal. I grabbed the pieces of metal I had just welded and barely felt the heat. In fact I'm so used to reaching for hot steel that I took off my gloves and accidentally grabbed my piece, I had just finished welding and that's how I realized how good these gloves are insulators. I didn't burn my bare hand, but I dropped the metal very quickly…

Pros
  • EXCELLENT HEAT RESISTANCE - Made from high quality leather and a soft cotton lining that withstands and protects against high temperatures.
Cons
