I love these gloves so much. I think I should have gone up a size but I have huge hands. They are so comfortable and protect you from splashes and hot metal. I grabbed the pieces of metal I had just welded and barely felt the heat. In fact I'm so used to reaching for hot steel that I took off my gloves and accidentally grabbed my piece, I had just finished welding and that's how I realized how good these gloves are insulators. I didn't burn my bare hand, but I dropped the metal very quickly. There are no burn marks on the gloves from splashes or touching hot metal. I love these gloves. You won't regret it at all. The gun fits my hands well and they reach my arms far enough for me to feel secure with the 3/4 sleeve. I'm in Florida so it's hot year round. That's why I don't wear long sleeves, but with these gloves I don't have to. Get them and you'll never wear a pair of welding gloves again.
