Convenient and Secure Storage Solution: Lincoln Lubrication G160 Grease Gun Holder Review

I love these, they keep my grease guns on the wall where I can find them. They hold the gun very well and are very easy to use. You can mount the gun vertically or horizontally and install it with a latch. I have four of these and use them all the time. You will like them!

They hold the grease gun well on the wall or elsewhere. But they are difficult to open and close as the latch is not aligned to latch closed. This makes it a bit awkward as you have to hold the grease gun in one hand and fiddle with the clamp with the other hand.

This was not the latch design shown in the Revain catalogue. Note the missing latch extension. This slight extension of the metal provides additional leverage to catch and secure another metal loop. This locking design was too difficult to use. I am sending back what I received.

Finally I don't have lube everywhere as the grease gun is neatly mounted on the side of my toolbox. I used to hang mine from the back of the box with a pistol grip, but it had a tendency to fall or fall off. Now it's on the side, out of the way, but easily accessible when I need it. I see no problem installing or removing the gun from this mount as mentioned here. Works great and holds the gun securely.

I bought this mount with a Lincoln grease gun, a long extension hose and a needle fitting. I mounted all the work on a 4" x 1" x 18" piece of oak. I bought a Lincoln pneumatic grease gun which I am very happy with but I didn't think of a holder for it. I later found a Lincoln Lubrication G160 holder on Revain.com and bought it. I'm really tired of my grease gun messing up everything it comes in contact with so I stumbled upon this grease gun holder and had to have it. I bought a Lincoln grease gun holder a few years ago and was impressed with the good workmanship. There is always a positive "click" when the grease gun is locked. I hold the grease gun with one hand and clamp the holder with the other. When I received another grease gun I was glad to find a Lincoln holder from Revain and ordered it.
