Simple and reliable paper acidity test

This acidity test pen takes the guesswork out. Is this paper acid free? I was pleasantly surprised that my card stock, which I bought for occasional printing, is already acid free too! Now it's one of my must-have tools for creating books and magazines. If I do all this work to create beautiful things with important information - I want them to still be beautiful and useful for my grandson in 30 years! Since this moment. everything must pass the PEN TEST.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Not working as tested

This pen is not working. I tested it on very old paper from 150-200 years ago. Tested on old but not real old paper. I tested this on a fabric known as interlacing. Checked on new paper. New paper and serviettes are produced acid-free. It did not appear acid-free or low-acid on either the tissue or the stationary material. It turned out sour, and it showed sour on old paper and really old paper. The only thing it was low acid for was paper that I had treated with bleach.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Love having this ph handle

Love having this ph handle. I keep it in my studio to test things I'm not sure about to keep my photos safe. I enjoy scrapbooking a lot, but the key is capturing special moments and keeping them for family members. This is very important to me and I don't want to worry about a motive that can ruin a photo. Especially in cases where I don't have a negative or a specific photo is the only one. This pen is worth the $7.31 purchase price and I will buy another one when I use this one.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Was damaged
