This mesh Wi-Fi system has left me frustrated. As my tests showed, there were connectivity issues and slow speed even in close range. The setup process was complicated and not beginner-friendly. The only pro was the sleek design of the devices. However, the cons outweighed it as the system failed to deliver a stable and powerful enough signal for my home office needs. I do not recommend this product to anyone in need of reliable and fast Wi-Fi.

I replaced the original Linksys Velop Mesh system with a new Pro 6 AX5400 system to give me faster internet speeds and so far it is getting achieved this goal. The coverage in the house is wide and tall, just like my old Velop system. The only problem was that starting this new system took 4 excruciating hours because the program was looping while adding nodes. Setup was easy Our total time was about 20 minutes including switching to bridge mode and moving the two devices to their permanent locations. It looks like the system is learning as the speed increases each day. The only real downsides are the lack of a USB port, the lack of multi-gigabit WANs and LANs, and the app, which is required but not very useful.
