Installation seemed easy but became a futile task when the automatic installation failed. I have a fairly standard laptop; I can't figure out why the default install didn't work. True, my installation is not typical. I already have a router and another wireless access point, one is G and the other is N. So I had to change the settings. I had to disable DHCP before getting started and I made some other changes as well. The problem is that the installer is only for the simplest form of installation, directly on the modem and without other routers on the network.
