Review on 📶 Wireless-N Router - Cisco-Linksys E1000 by Emanuel Frison

Installation seemed easy but became a futile task when the automatic installation failed. I have a fairly standard laptop; I can't figure out why the default install didn't work. Most users would not have had the experience and patience to contact tech support like I did to download a working installer version by following detailed tech support instructions. Also, you don't get any documentation (just an installation CD) and all the technical complexity is hidden and/or simplified to the point of stupidity. I had to download the manual (which is excellent) to find out that the WEP class security was set because the setup only asked for a password and didn't mention that it might actually be a "passphrase". If you have a netbook without a CD drive, you may need to call tech support to get something done. That being said, this device solved the problem I wanted: my video downloads were greatly improved - no lag, even when using 720p. Resolution.
