    Closely; soft ankle

    We ordered two pairs of these shoes - the first was too small, although we ordered based on my daughter's foot size. The first pair came in an eBay box and then a shoe box, with padding in each sock, obviously new - they were nice and shiny, and the plates on the soles were smooth. The second pair - which we're keeping because they've had to borrow cool shoes twice before (each time we've ordered this product has been delivered for almost a week) - came in a plastic bag, just snapped together…

    Annoyed by my rating

    Shoes appear to be of good quality. What's not nice is 1. Strong chemical smell 2. Long execution time 3. Waiting all the time for size 12 to only get a box that says size 12 but with a size 9 shoe in it. Now I'm buying from another company. I can't wait another 2 weeks to get another wrong pair.

    Comfortable. The strap makes it easy.

    I got them for my 5yo. They never hurt her or gave her blisters. They never had to be broken in. She wore them to her first dance class when they were brand new and comfortable on her. I'm so glad I have her strappy shoes. She can put them on and take them off herself. Some of the other girls in the class need the teacher's help to tie their tap shoes, but I'm sure the teacher appreciates the students who can do it themselves.

    Too small, cheaper elsewhere, strange design, slow delivery

    I bought these for my daughter as she has outgrown her old pair. Little did I know it took over 2 weeks for them to ship; I saw a similar pair back when the Academy sold for $10 less. I'm glad I ordered them. Shoes from ebay were too small which is bad enough given the shipping time and cost comparison. However, looking at the metal clasps on the boots, they seemed a bit odd, too thick. When I compared them to the Academy and their previous pair (bought from Good Will), the metal brackets were…

    Look pretty and love the velcro!

    My daughter loves them for tap dance classes. She is 4 years old and I am so happy I bought her with Velcro. She's always the first one ready when they change their shoes because she can do it herself instead of needing help with ties or buckles. Definitely a MUST if your child is younger! Saves time and they feel independent when they can do it themselves.

    Too small..!: my rating

    After reading reviews. My daughter ordered a 9, one size larger than her usual shoe size. Still WAY too small! They appear to be good quality shoes but run very small.

    My daughter (4) was dying to get into bottling this year so I bought this one. I ordered size 12, my daughter is 11 now, so order one size up! she loves them!

    As long as you measure their feet as directed, they will fit perfectly. Very durable shoes and the child is very happy with it!

    Order 1-2 sizes larger

    I bought them for my daughter for her birthday. She couldn't even put them on and I had 5 days to return them. Super disappointed. The photo shows 2 pairs of shoes, slippers and new sandals. Both are size 11. She couldn't even put her tap shoes on. Make sure your order is at least 1, if not 2, sizes larger.

    The size is smaller! my judgement

    The shoes are great. However, they are VERY big. I was told to order a small child a size 1 for my 4 year old who wears a size 11 and I swear they will fit an adult who wears a size 7. Returned for a smaller size

    Great purchase for my little one!

    The tap shoes are excellent quality and very comfortable for my little one. The size is very accurate. I particularly like the Velcro fasteners, which make it easier for my child to put on and take off the slippers. I would recommend and intend to buy as soon as we need to increase the size.

    Wrath of Money! good for me

    I got these for my little girl, she is 7 years old, they run small, usually she is a size 12. I had to take size 1 in slippers. But overall good and durable. Not bad for the price. I definitely recommend it

    Too small! - my new rating

    These shoes are WAY small! I ordered size 9 for toddlers and they look more like size 6! It says "US 9" on the box and inside the shoe. For comparison, here are my daughter's size 8 sneakers next to this supposed size 9 shoe. I'm returning them and I'm not even changing to another size (because who knows what it will be)! So disappointing.

    Too small and the box was not sealed or secured

    I ordered my daughter's 12 1/2 and they were TOO SMALL. She couldn't even put a foot in it. The shoes were sent in a large eBay box with no tape and could easily fall out in transit. I have never received such a package from ebay.

    Cute but very small

    I bought them for my 4 year old daughter but had to send them back as they were too small. These shoes are very thin and narrow. Very tight. Be sure to choose a size or look for a brand that offers a wide range of shoes.

    Not as good as I had hoped

    I was excited to get these for my daughter but they barely last a season. The velcro is wearing off and she says the healing is seeping into hers despite being the right size and having been wearing them for a few weeks now.
