Very nice serving trolley in the furniture category

Very nice and well designed little serving trolley! The wheels in particular work VERY well compared to some other products. This trolley will be a useful and attractive part of our kitchen for many years. Two caveats: - The instructions are in the "pictures only" style, so make sure you take your time and carefully place the correct parts in the correct orientation. - The granite plate is not glued or screwed to the frame. There are two holes on the top that fit two wooden pegs on the top of…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Useless features

I received the box in good condition and everything was carefully packed. However, there were several problems. After laying everything out, I noticed a few scratches and dents on some of the wood pieces. I was able to touch up most of the scratches with furniture markers but there are a number of noticeable dents in the wood (see attached photo). There was a large recess in the wooden handle of the wire box (see photo). Another issue was the holes drilled on either side to accommodate the wire

Looking good if you can finally get it to work.

Bought to feed my cats. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and couldn't afford a lot of space. The first problem was that there was a small burn mark on the granite slab. However, since I was using it as a cat feeder, I had no intention of trading it. I will say this wasn't my first rodeo trying to put something like this together so I pretty much knew what to expect in terms of cryptic hieroglyphs for instructions etc. However, it took over 3 hours to assemble (at least at least 2 hours…

Elegance at an Affordable Price

We were looking for something relatively compact for our newly renovated kitchen and this seemed a perfect fit. At seventy four dollars I wasn't expecting much but was shocked at the quality that was delivered. First, this product contains a lot of natural wood, although some reviewers believe it is cardboard. With no granite countertop, the unit is very light, which is a hallmark of wood versus man-made materials. Speaking of granite countertops - ours is slightly damaged so probably came from

Unsafe design, incredibly poor workmanship

This product does not appear to be safe. The heavy granite countertop is attached to the rest of the unit with two (2) wood dowels and no other fasteners/adhesives. The dowel is too small to fit properly in the hole in the granite countertop and is incredibly short. It is therefore not possible to attach the tabletop to the table in such a way that it cannot be lifted or pushed off with little effort. I believe the above issue applies to all copies of this product as it appears to be a design…
