I received the box in good condition and everything was carefully packed. However, there were several problems. After laying everything out, I noticed a few scratches and dents on some of the wood pieces. I was able to touch up most of the scratches with furniture markers but there are a number of noticeable dents in the wood (see attached photo). This product does not appear to be safe. The heavy granite countertop is attached to the rest of the unit with two (2) wood dowels and no other fasteners/adhesives. The dowel is too small to fit properly in the hole in the granite countertop and is incredibly short. It is therefore not possible to attach the tabletop to the table in such a way that it cannot be lifted or pushed off with little effort.
