The yarn is excellent and knits wonderfully. I am in the process of knitting a fisherman sweater for my daughter and the pattern turns out spectacular with this color and yarn type. A + A + A + A + A + to the end.

These are yarns of excellent quality, they are fully consistent with the description. And it's really beautiful. I made hats. I put it in the washing machine and then in the dryer (half dry). Repeat until you get the right size. Plus, it blocks your work and makes your stitches perfect! The yarn will become softer after the first wash! I absolutely LOVE this yarn!

I have been knitting and trying different yarn types for many years and Lion brand yarn has always been my favorite. This is, as the name Fisherman's Wool suggests, a 100% wool yarn, a slightly heavier worsted yarn. It is soft-soft yet has good body and offers excellent stitch definition.
