The only downside is that it may need frequent washing, but the quality remains the same after washing.

High quality yarn for winter hats and scarves. Personally I don't like really skinny hats or cheaper scarves and things like they're thick, I like chunky ones and I like them comfy, cozy and warm, that's perfect for projects like this and the color goes well with a lot of stuff.
