When we watched the YouTube video, they were easy to install. Good thing we needed springs because when we removed the brackets the screws started to rust. The sealant used when camping didn't even stick to the mount!

I have a 2005 Raptor toy dump truck and have only run two springs in the last few years. Although they are a bit shorter than the OEM springs, they do the job and I can once again open and close the ramp door with one hand.

I bought these not knowing if I needed light or medium weight springs. My TH door has two broken springs. These medium springs are stronger than the light springs on my Fuzion Chrome TH. Haven't put them on yet but assume the number of light springs still running on the ramp door will be reduced to accommodate them.

I have two doors on a 5x6 ramp made of 1 1/2 square tubing, 1/8 wall and 1/2 treated plywood. The springs work great and fit perfectly. The paint makes a very durable and scratch-resistant impression. Now the door can be easily lifted with one hand. I would say the ramp weighs around 120-150 pounds. Very happy that I plan to order more for the side ramp on my closed trailer.
