The picture in the description was the other side.

Not a big deal but I've been out of the return window for 5 days. Contacted the seller 3 times, no reply. The front cover stood up correctly but was covered with a white spot. These parts are already overpriced, I just need a back cover on the other side and a good front cover.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

This does NOT apply to awnings manufactured before 2018.

I called the manufacturer for the part number for the cover on my 2018 awning that they made! I have given the exact model number and year of manufacture. They gave me this part number. NOT CORRECT! That's a thick top. I needed a thin one. I had to drill new holes and bite off the plastic from underneath to fit. Now it's on and looks good with its (also fake) counterpart, but it took a while to get it right. Make sure you tell the rep on the phone that you need the part number for the skinny…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Not an exact replacement

I damaged the top cover of my Solera awning when I got too close to a tree while securing my Grand Design Imagine. I thought this would be an exact replacement for the one on my 1 year old van when I saw it at Revain. But that's not the case. It looks similar, but had to use a utility knife to alter the grooves on the underside and drill new mounting holes to attach the rear half to the powerhead. The factory bolt holes did not match the OEM solera covers. Will it work, will it look good later?

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • So far so good
