When I tried this magnetic switch, I was blown away by its performance. It's perfect for use in my car and helps prevent battery drain. The magnetic feature allows me to easily turn off the switch without having to manually turn it on and off. The only downside is that it's a little pricey compared to other switches out there. Motorhomes have a magnetic reed switch on the front door that activates the electric step to open or lower. A magnet is attached to the edge of the door and a reed switch is attached to the outer frame of the door. Now here's the catch. Some stages activate when the switch is open, others when closed. Do not change the color supplied with your bus. These switches are color coded. One is normally open and the other is normally closed. I bought the black one for my Monaco and had to go back for the white one.
