Description of Liquitex BASICS Modeling Paste, 250ml

A thick acrylic putty to create texture on rigid supports and make 3D forms. Dries to a hard 'stone-like' opaque white matte finish that you can sand or carve. Can be used on its own, mixed with color, or painted once dry. Can be painted with acrylics, oils, watercolors, graphite or dry pastels when dry. Apply with knife or tool, or mix with acrylic color to make a tinted paste. For sculptural texture, build up in thin layers, allowing each to dry. Dry slowly by covering loosely with plastic wrap to avoid shrinkage cracks.

A Must-Have for Arts and Crafts!

This modelling paste is perfect for adding texture to your paintings. Through trial and error, I found that using this paste with acrylics gives a wonderfully 3D effect on canvas. It's easy to use and dries quickly, allowing me to continue working on my piece without having to wait too long. The only downside is that the paste can be a bit too thick sometimes, requiring some extra water to thin it out. Overall, a great addition to any artist's toolbox.
