Spilled a bottle of this during Inktober with quill pens. I also did some lines and washes. It worked great under many layers of watercolor. This is my first choice for pen drawings. I like to use acrylic ink in resin because mixing and spreading the color takes less effort than using a simple acrylic pigment from a tube. The more you have to work at dispersing the pigment, the more likely you are to introduce a lot of air bubbles into your mix. I write with different types of permanent markers and I usually prefer acrylic inks which are not very thick and not very runny. I've used Speedball Super pigmented acrylic ink in the past, which was perfect except that a few drops of water had to be added to the ink to adjust viscosity and flow. Liquitex is marketed as anhydrous so this time I tried this brand and was disappointed. The ink is too thin to be used with dip pens and the black isn't as dark as a lightly watered speedball. The…
