🚰 Lisle 17932 Drain Pan - High-Capacity 6 Quart Oil Catcher Review

Opened September 8th and went on shelf today October 18th. I went to power up to replace the antifreeze and found a crack on the side. Unfortunately, my return time was overdue. So I paid for a piece of junk and can't change the antifreeze

Drip tray is for limited use. It's sturdy enough for home use, but clearly not for commercial use. The only easy and cheap improvement would be to make the lip V-shaped instead of crescent-shaped. This allows for more accurate filling.

Four drip pans were packaged and shipped separately which seems funny as I would stack and pack them together for shipping. The plastic is a bit brittle and three of the four pots survived shipping. We use them to catch oil drips when working with heavy yellow equipment and these pans are great for that. I wouldn't mind ordering more pans that are a few liters larger and less fragile. In general we are very happy with them. Many Thanks :-)

I'm sure for someone using it for its intended purpose (as a catch basin) the dimensions won't matter much. But I had a different goal and needed the dimensions listed in the Product Dimensions section (15.1 x 4.5 x 15.7 inches). When I received it and saw that it was too small, I re-read the information on the listing and realized that the "package dimensions" listed above are in cm (38.1L x 10.668H x 37.338 B) Inches were incorrectly converted. 38.1 cm = 15 inches and 37.338 cm = 14.7 inches.
