Effective Spark Tester for Auto Mechanics

My analysis of this tool showed that it is a reliable and helpful addition to my collection of automotive test equipment. The inline design makes it easy to use and the bright light indicates a strong spark. The only downside is that it can only test one cylinder at a time which can be time-consuming for larger engines. Overall, i highly recommend this spark tester for anyone in the automotive industry..

Pros
  • Easy to use and requires no additional tools for installation.
Cons
  • May provide inconsistent readings if the spark plug is severely damaged or malfunctioning.

Excellent diagnostic tool

The spark tester can be used to test ignition coils, spark plugs, etc. Through the window you can visually see the strength and frequency of the spark. It can be used in older engines with spark plugs protruding from the engine. It can also be used on spark plugs that are located deep inside the engine. It's a bit more expensive compared to counterfeits, but cheaper brands have numerous complaints about soldering/crimping errors. The Lisle brand is known for its quality. Overall I would…

Pros
  • Quick diagnosis of problems with all ignition systems
Cons
  • Don't remind me
