Locking Pliers for Manifolds and Parts

Slightly disappointed with the lack of notches on the needle portion of the pliers. The finish is really nothing like the Lisle quality that I also use. They will get the job done, you just need to apply it with lubricant to prevent rust on the surface.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • old

Not worth the money

This tool is useless unless you take a round file and give yourself another 30 minutes to finish the product the way it should be. Otherwise the jaws will be too thick and will NOT fit under the plastic cap of the tweezers. It's overpriced and not finished at the factory. But that's what you get when you buy Chinese-made tools.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Empty

Works as described in the Parts section

I have a pair with curved jaws that were uncomfortable at times. This straight pair of jaws is easier to use, at least on my Jeep. It has such a poorly designed oil filter layout that I pull out the grille and headlight to swap them out instead of trying to reach them from underneath. Hence the need for these plastic pin pullers.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Has problems

Works great on Hondas.

thickness ? Stretch? What? If you own a Honda and want to remove the push pins under your car, this is a luxury item. Without them you can hear me swearing and ruin some erase attempts. Managed to reuse each on the last two machines. I've been working on it. Not Perfect: Sometimes it's awkward to try to pass, access, or grab. Honda doesn't make it easy, but this tool does it 90% of the time.

Pros
  • complete set
Cons
  • safety

Does what it should.

I saw some reviews here, I think this is not the right product. I bought this because there are a lot of pin clips on the underside of my civilian hybrid that need to be removed to change the oil. It hurts a bit, but it's not that hard. This tool keeps my fingers from breaking when trying to get those little pins out and makes the whole process so much easier. It also saves me most of my time breaking them up trying to find the right size buttons for my machine.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Not sure

Good quality! in Exhaust & Emissions

These pliers are just what you need to remove the locking pins if you want to salvage them. It really depends on the pen, some are so old and brittle or cheap that they break no matter what tool you use. However, it helps to save the ones you can. These pliers are well made, but they aren't spring-loaded, which doesn't bother me. Don't worry it was a good buy for the rare occasion I had to remove the plastic part of the bumper that was held in place by those little plastic pins. Tool boxโ€ฆ
