Flicker issues

Worked fine right out of the box but after a few days the flickering got bad. I have bought fixtures from another brand of the same style that run on the same dimmer. No problem.

Stylishly beautiful lamps

Bought 17 of these lamps for LR (6), DR (4), Kitchen (4), Hallway (2) and Front Entrance (1). They look great (small size / flush with the ceiling / stylish square shape) and work well (necessary bright lighting but not too much). My contractor installed it in two days so I have no idea how the installation went but he hasn't complained. The lighting in the living room is controlled by a 600w Leviton Decora slide dimmer purchased from Home Depot, with no flicker. Highly recommended. Props to my

Nice bright lights and gimbal function works great

Very nice lights. Note that the portion of the slab is less than 4 inches - closer to 3 inches. If you're trying to match these gimbals with the Lithonia WF series, keep that in mind. Installation is easy in theory, but gets a lot more annoying than necessary due to Halex-style cable clamps being too tight. Maybe it's ok for 14 AWG wire, but I had 12 AWG wire in this circuit and it's very difficult to run 12 AWG wire through these connectors. The wire can rub against the terminals where it…

Fits like a glove. I want more.

I've fallen in love with the parent company that owns Lithonia Lighting. Their build quality is excellent. They have the entire fixture in one build so installation shouldn't take more than 15-30 minutes. I substituted another light in its place and it stays cool enough to leave it on 24/7. Slide the Romex through the hole in the ballast and connect the wires. The flashlight comes with everything you need and I highly recommend getting a circular saw attachment to get the hole perfect. The hole

Great option for recessed lighting

I bought these for my dining room hoping they would be easy to install and help with the lighting in my dimly lit home. I can only say that the latter is true as they weren't as "easy to install" as advertised. It could have been the 12 gauge wire I used (although it should have worked fine with them), but the quick connectors that came with them were MUCH more difficult to connect than a standard wire nut. I also thought the junction box to plug it in could be a bit bigger, but that's it. My…

Pretty good light nice color

The 3000K 90 CRI light is a really nice light for our dining room. I was surprised at how many sellers on Revain list 80 CRI by listing 90 CRI in the listing title. 90 will be a decent cheap light, 80 will fade all your colors. Check the specifications before you buy! This lamp's ridiculous looking mounting system works, I don't know how, but it works. No problem if they slip out. The three downsides to these lights are that the finish paint has flaws and imperfections that you will see if you…

Find more: Recessed lighting

I'm a contractor, our client specified this so we're using it. I like the look and the price seems reasonable. We have them on the switch now and while they work fine we'll see how they work with the dimmer if we do electrical trimming. **** EDIT Lithonia specs have dropped. For example, from their list of "compatible dimmers" they have the Lutron DV-603P and the DV-600P - both dimmers for incandescent and halogen lamps. Some of the others they list are for low voltage, these lights are mains…

Reliable installation for a quality product.

Can't recommend highly enough! FYI, I've never installed new recessed lights before. I changed the lightbulbs and installed upgraded lights, but that's about it. However, I've installed floors with latches and locks, lots of vanity lights, sink faucets, and lots of outlets, so there is a level of skill. Just wanted to clarify! Installation: super easy! I installed several lights in my living room and replaced a track light. I found this Milwaukee adjustable drywall ceiling cutter that attaches…
