Lithonia Lighting VW150I M12 Grey Utility Vapor Tights - Incandescent (120V, 150W) Review

This is a well made surface mount light that will fit in any standard sized bulb I want to use. If you're adding external (weathered) lights, surface mounting is much easier than trying to cut a hole for flush mounting. Although designed to keep vapor out, I like them for any outdoor use where functionality is more important than economy.

They look exactly like the Woods lights that Revain sells, but the entry holes are 3/4" pipe threads instead of 1/2". The latter makes more sense given the build wire diameter to be expected. Other sizes are also slightly different. I gave the lantern a good look and would recommend Woods as it is better designed. If you need larger entrances, you can buy an adapter sleeve.

Great product for LED screw-in lamps. Tip: When most outdoor LED bulbs burn out, you need to replace the entire fixture. If they don't do this style anymore, you're screwed. But as long as they make screw-in LED bulbs, these puppies don't need to be replaced. The only problem is that Revain wouldn't let me buy more than one at a time. I bought a dozen directly from the manufacturer for less money. Sorry Revane, you're not always the best.

This fixture has high quality and industrial performance. This product is double the price due to quality, fit, materials and construction. I was looking for a fully sealed under deck light. I bought another device that was supposed to work in "wet" areas, but it wasn't fully sealed and as a result water got in and shorted out. This device is actually sealed and has rubber grommets at the joints of the parts. I am very happy with it. After the rain it is still dry and working. Reliable Flashlights. they look amazing and if i needed i could easily color them. The glass bowl that protects the bulb actually screws into the stand, and the cage attaches in its own way along with a set screw to ensure it stays in place. There are rubber grommets between the components to keep it sealed. Looks high quality but the weld where the screws attach to the house (2 spots) is very unreliable. Any change in temperature or wind will break the weld and leave the lantern hanging.
