To be honest this is their worst model and in the last 10 years I have had 4 previous versions, each of which may have lasted a few years. This is by far the worst. I bought this box despite seeing so many bad reviews because I'm stubborn and would do anything to decorate things. The first. I used Tidy Cat Clumping (4 cats) by the way. Before I put the litter in the litter box, I sprayed the litter box with diapers and then sprinkled a light coat of baking soda on top of the spray so there weren't clumps on the bottom of the litter box when my cats went about their business.
