Good protection and versatility

Not wanting to pay for gel shorts at bike shops ($100+) I wore them for a 2 week bike ride in Europe. No problem. They worked well (the buttocks didn't hurt) and were easy to wash. And you can wear your choice of outerwear to suit the occasion - tights, capris, shorts, etc. I've worn suede shorts before and they're much better. I'll order a few more. And I paid $9.99 for the first pair - now it's $6.99! You can't be wrong.

Low product quality.

They are terribly made. The material is very thin and feels like it's about to tear, even though it's stretchy. True to size but very uncomfortable. I have other cycling shorts where the padding is very pliable and moves with your body. This pad is very hard. The thread used to sew shorts has no elastic. This will stretch the material a little, but the top and bottom where the end is sewn won't stretch. A very poorly made product.

Gentle on my rear, but too small!

The butt pad is amazing. I hardly feel my fitness while riding and the next day I don't feel any pain even after a 30 mile ride. My only issue with the shorts is that they are very small. I had to cut them off to give my hips a break because they would cut off blood flow. I would suggest taking a size or 2 larger than your usual shorts size. I wear mine as underwear under leggings so I'm padded but not exposed to super tight/short shorts.

The shorts are very small, but have decent padding.

I followed the measurements in the size chart and decided to order a size up just to be on the safe side. Even after figuring out the size, I found these shorts to be too small. I would recommend ordering at least two sizes up, maybe three if you're on the bottom half. The picture shows them as low rise models, but the actual product was exceptionally low. They've created a VERY unflattering silhouette and created all sorts of lumps and bumps that don't normally exist. For me the general fit…

Creates thick rolls: women

I bought these to include in my cycling cycle and they are not my favorite. If all you care about is a soft gel on the buttocks, they're fine, but not as good as other cycling shorts I've owned. Although the actual size I bought was correct, they really are unflattering. The fabric is stretchy but not as strong, which holds everything up well, like cycling shorts you can buy at a bike shop. Although the fabric part is fitted, they feel too loose, like wearing a stretched swimsuit. The belt hits

Ride comfortably and be cute!

I am by definition a traditional "road master". I wear lycra but for casual "date nights" I wanted to try something to look cute. I wore them last night on August 20th for a 10 mile trip and they were great. I had my doubts. The pad is thicker and the lining does not stretch. Being discreet, I wore them around the house about an hour before our trip. They began to stretch a little and felt better. They have performed well in our daily journey. I could feel them breathing too since it was 90…

Great gear to avoid cycling pain!

I am a small, plump girl. I tried to control my weight. I bought a bike for $600 and loved it for a couple of weeks until the pain started. I was going down a huge hill and bumped into my butt, and for about a month my butt was killing me when I was sitting at work, driving, or getting up and getting out of bed. I've read everywhere that bike seats and padded bike shorts help with this kind of pain. I already have a great bike seat, so I was skeptical that cycling shorts like this would really…
