Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings and are suitable for a wide range of applications. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of toolholding systems. Three flute, 10 degree angle. Designed for perfect balance and ultra smooth finish over a wide speed range.

Amazing Reverse Helix End Mills

These are great for woodworking! Reverse Helix is really gentle on wood, and many of my other pieces keep up with it, as opposed to standard helix end mills. I make wood bodied mics (spring mics to see what these end mills can do) and these end mills are essential. The price has gone up lately but they are worth it. I get about 40 hours of cutting time at 26,000rpm on composite woods, ash and harder woods (Ype/Ironwood) from each bit.
