Worked great on a chainsaw cylinder.

I used this gasket at the joint between the cylinder and crankcase when replacing a piston and cylinder on a Poulan chainsaw. Many people have recommended Loctite 518 which is why I bought this brand. It was easy to use and seems to be working as the chainsaw now has a good grip.

What could be wrong with that?

Bought this on a whim after seeing it being used on a YouTube repair channel. I usually like to add a shim when using a standard shim. While not suitable for all types of pads, I definitely have a feeling it will help and will last. I will use it again to help replace the gasket.

Good product worked without activation primer

This product was used to seal two halves of an aluminum outboard crankcase. According to the instructions, I didn't use a primer. I cleaned both surfaces thoroughly with lacquer thinner and then used a small brush to apply a thin coat to each side, being careful to leave a small gap near the bearings. Then leave the assembled crankcase for a few days. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned that the product wouldn't cure properly without a primer so I took it apart to check for curing
