Unfortunately not the most useful in griddles

I was hoping I could make four 3-4 inch pancakes at once. They fit, but even after a very long preheat (I tried twice) the inside of the pancake is in the middle. the burner would cook very well. The outer half (yes, half) of each pancake would still be white. It eventually cooked but never got hot enough to brown. I flipped the cake over to let them bake, but after two tries I gave up and gave up the pan.

Disappointingly good for crockery

I'm a little disappointed with that. I usually love cast iron cookware - I find it works better for a lot of things. But this pan is not very good. I don't know if it's the grooved design on the bottom or my glass cooktop, but the thing heats up unevenly. Edges and corners are mostly cold. Turn the knob up and the pan will overheat very quickly for the food you are cooking. My last 12" flat-bottomed cast iron skillet distributed heat perfectly on my stovetop (it was over 30 years old). Maybe…

I bought this oven to increase the surface area of the oven for heating tortillas, toasting bread, making quesadillas and the like. It works well and is easy to clean. The lack of high sides makes it easy to flip items with a spatula, but the lip on the rim keeps oil and grease out. It is big and very heavy, so you may find it difficult to store it. I keep it either on the stovetop or in the oven. Heat dissipation can be an issue. It's much larger than the burner, so the surface farther from…

Excellent grill pan

I LOVE this pan! It would be possible to prepare a tank for it! Too bad I didn't think of buying it sooner like so many years ago. Now I only use this piece for cooking, I can make my whole breakfast on it of toast, eggs, bacon, sausage! I also love hot dogs on it and toasting a bun! I even fry/heat sauerkraut on it! I can't wait to make a toasted bagel and then spread cream cheese on it! Delicious! Never liked a microwave hot dog/bun, but you're lazy. And it's big enough to go with anything…
