Moderate impact protection, fits and looks good.

Thicker than expected. Fits pretty well. These are not skinny jeans, they are tight but on the verge of being slim. I plan to use them in cooler weather because they will definitely be hotter than regular jeans, especially because of the aramid lining. The pads are CE marked, but we should all be aware that it can be any pad with a CE mark on it - it's a cheaper material, but hey, it's some sort of initial impact protection, so mind that nothing. The jeans are of very good quality. Very comfortable with padding in all the right places.

Premium motorcycle protective gear with heavyweight denim and 50% Kevlar/50% Polyester lining. These jeans also have removable hip and knee pads. Denim is also very comfortable. In general, I took a size up to wear other pants or a thermos underneath on cold days. I also ordered slightly longer so I can fold in the bottom cuffs to wear with riding boots. Overall these jeans are excellent quality and at a great price. I'll get more as they wear out!

***IMPORTANT*** Adjusting Knee Pads

I almost gave 3 stars in my last review because the knee pads were 3-4 inches lower for protection. My height is 5 feet 8 inches. I also read another review about a 5'8 man who had the same complaint. I had to wash them anyway so I decided to put my review aside until I washed them. When I turned the pants inside out to remove the armor before washing, I found that there is a second Velcro area in the knee pockets that can be removed, allowing the armor to be lifted an additional 2 inches or…

Not perfect, but good enough and affordable.

These jeans are a good compromise between price and quality. They tend to be a bit big (for me) and a bit long (I ordered 34/33 and they feel generous), but they are perfectly usable. The hip pads feel comfortable. Knee pads are more likely to sit slightly inward (medially) than forward or outward (lateral). But they fit quite well and are higher in the waist than my previous pair from another seller (no longer available). They have more doubling inside than my previous pair, which is good. Why
