Type of review

I had to write this review as soon as I received the M575. It's that impressive, at least right out of the box. I personally think that once you get used to the trackball, you'll never want to go back to the mouse. I have two very old M570s. They were dreams of owning. They're no longer made by Logitech, and according to recent reviews, the latest models can't match older models in terms of durability or quality. use. The left button eventually stopped working on the one that was actively used.

Pros
  • Convenient controls. Navigating between documents or browsing your favorite websites is a breeze thanks to large, easy-to-reach forward/back buttons and a precise scroll wheel.
Cons
  • poorly thought out

GOOD PRODUCT BUT BAD SUPPORT

I have had several older M570 trackballs and am very happy with them. The prices went up so much that when I lost one I decided to buy a new and current model instead of a refurbished model. Someone says that the current model - Ergo M575 - is larger. For all practical purposes, they are the same size. The new model is only 1/8 inch larger and has a different shape. Even the rolling ball is interchangeable. So there is not much difference. The trackball in the M575 spins much easier. It's also…

Pros
  • Up to 24 months on a single AA battery with a USB receiver, you might just forget the trackball even needs batteries.
Cons
  • weak

My favorite trackball now has Bluetooth!

I already have three Logitech m570 trackballs for work and personal use. Now Logitech has added Bluetooth to the M575. This update alone makes it perfect for my MacBook Pro, Surface Pro, iPad, etc. that doesn't have a USB port or only has a USB port. You can still use the USB connection (there is a place to store this item in the battery compartment when not in use). The lack of Bluetooth was the only reason I also have the Logitech MX Master 3. I prefer the trackball, although the MX Master…

Pros
  • Ideal for tight spaces. Because the trackball doesn't move, it's perfect for tight workspaces and busy desks.
Cons
  • Power outlet required

A worthy successor to the M570

I've been using the Logitech M570 for about ten years and I really like it. Eventually, after a nasty fall, it started having issues with the buttons, so I had to replace it. I found the M575 (this mouse) as a new version with MX ERGO as an upgrade option (theoretically). After a few days with this mouse I'm not disappointed, although I don't see it as an overall improvement over the M570. For those looking for more explanation, I have a few thoughts. Overall, the build quality seems to have…
