No fitting instructions

Product meets my needs. It was a replacement for a lost receiver. Rather than just plug and play, I had to download software from Logitec to make it recognize my keyboard.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Compatibility

This is NOT a fake like I thought.

When I contacted Amazon to return, the woman in the "chat" sent me a link to download the software. My merge device worked immediately. Very excited. So it's not "plug and play" and comes without instructions. However, you need to download the Logitech Unifying250 link.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • There are nuances

Doesn't always work for network adapters

I had trouble getting Unifying Receivers to work on two laptops, although it worked fine on a third. I installed Unifying drivers and software, but the Logitech mice that came with the dongle are not recognized. Windows experts say it's not Windows, but Unifying software that doesn't recognize mice.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • For old

Save on $70 Trackball

I had to throw away my $70 wireless trackball after the USB receiver failed. Then I accidentally stumbled across the Unifying Receiver and decided to give it a try. After downloading and running the Logitech supported software, I was able to use the trackball after a reboot. It's also good to have a backup.

Pros
  • Very Fast Shipping
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fake USB Recovery --- Shame doesn't work

The so-called Logitic Unifying receivers are fake and don't work. The picture shows the real ones, but the one I got was in a green box and it didn't say Logitech in white letters on the edge, it said Logi in black letters. The real USB is red, the fake is black. See the choices I posted.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Short guide

They sent used scrap!

I received these keys today and both packages have been opened. It is clear that they were used and both were junk! None of them worked on my computers. Nothing but garbage. I can't believe they had the courage to send them! I guess I'll shop elsewhere for my computer supplies. Come on Amazon; Please know who you are doing business with. In the end, it reflects your business.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some problems

What you might need for NICs

When I installed this on my desktop I found that for Mouse/Keyboard Unification I needed a non-unified mouse to set up the . On a laptop this isn't a problem since you have a trackpad, but on a desktop without an onboard interface device you'll need a mouse with a dedicated USB dongle to install software and connect devices. what do you want. After installing the software it worked pretty smoothly.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
