Worth the price

Great quality for the price. I usually use the Canon t3i for videos, it's definitely a good substitute for streaming and quick explainer videos with less setup time. PS: There is a lot of confusion on the internet about the webcam not working properly, mainly in Skype. All you have to do is remove the default installation of Skype and then download and install the desktop version from the Skype website. The camera worked as soon as I installed the new version.

Physical: standard monitor mount. Good angular articulation (top-bottom and left-right). The threaded insert for a tripod is good. Audio: Good sampling rate (48 kHz), stereo. Needs a little EQ for a more natural sound and reduced low frequency noise. Video: good picture with default settings. A full list of settings is available if you wish to customize them. I was disappointed that H.264 wasn't available on OBS even though it was advertised and on the box. I love the manual focus range…

In fact, it would be possible to set the white balance through any interface

The only thing that bothers me about this camera is that unfortunately I can't do anything during a web conference to adjust the white balance to the time and my light situation means LOTS of light which makes me look like I'm glowing in the dark when the lights are off. However, the image quality turned out to be surprisingly good, and installation was a lot easier than I originally expected with such a thick "manual” (which turned out to be mostly troubleshooting tips, which I think are…

Angletube 920 PC Cam works well with Linux with UVC kernel based driver

Comes with Zoom meeting (in Vivaldi browser) and Guvcview video capture/recorder/viewer (with Linux V4L2/UVC driver built in ) used. Guvcview announces support for H264, Mjpeg, YUVU422, RBG3, BGR3, YU12 and YV12 formats. Not all formats can display 1080p at 30 fps. This may be a limitation of my system or USB port bandwidth. H264 performs best at 1080p, followed by RBG3 and BGR3. Note that the frame rate decreases as the scene's light level decreases, likely as the frame exposure time increases
