🔧 Lokar TC-1000U 24" Universal Throttle Cable: Enhancing Control and Flexibility Review

Cable fits my '65 galaxy 500. Had to resize but it was easy. The only downside is that the bolt that attaches through the carburetor is not long enough when using the Sonnax TV Cable Correction Bracket Kit. Also, the cable is excellent quality and an improvement over the other random generic cables I've had.

Very nice looks, adjustable length, gas adjustment. I couldn't get it to work on my computer because my firewall is at about a 30 degree angle down where the cable runs. I only have 14 inches to work with so the cable housing has to be bent like a pretzel to make it work. If my firewall was flat it would work great. I couldn't find any additional details to change it to work. There may be something, but there is very little information.

Small price but excellent quality. Nice simple instructions, take the time to read them so your internal and/or external cables don't get tangled. The best advice I can give is to cut the inner cable with airplane shears (metal snips). I used the yellow handle for straight cuts, it comes out very clean and fits easily into the carburetor end fitting. Wire mounted to 78 GMC pickup. I found some large flange washers and 1 1/4" grommets at a local hardware store to attach to the firewall. I cut the cable into panels without wrapping tape around it and it snapped like a blooming flower. I had to replace the inner cable and try again.
