Great product. Swapped an LS Ina 83 Malibu with Holley motor mounts and Hooker 1 7/8 headers and the stock dipstick tube didn't fit. I bought this and it went straight in. I know some reviewers said it was too short, but for my application it worked great.

I couldn't get the stock dipstick tube back in after dropping the gearbox and choosing to go that route. It fits perfectly. Just make sure the flat side is facing the gear box. I lubricated the o-rings and applied silicone as instructed and no leaks. Put on trans 99 o'clock. It's right under the hood.

I installed this on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car uses a 4T65E-HD gearbox but it connects with no problems. I installed manifolds on the car and the factory dipstick no longer fits. I almost went for the cheap one but I couldn't resist and bought a Locar... glad I did! Outstanding build quality!

This item fits my 4L60E GM gearbox perfectly. There are a few cheap fakes sold here at Revain for $20-$40. Don't waste your time with them. They have plastic dipstick tubes that melt when the oil heats up. All these Lokar products are metal products that fit together perfectly. Highly recommend this product for vehicles with 4L60E transmission or LS replacement.

I don't know what kind of vehicle it is with a 2ft pipe assembly. should be, but not long enough for my '94 blazer. I swear if I had it installed I wouldn't be able to reach the firewall far enough to drill through the mount or check the fluid level. Nice but too short for me. I really wish it was about 9-12 inches longer. My rating is based on my app, yours may well be different.
