Rear Shock Mounts

My mechanic welded them on and installed new shock absorbers they fit perfectly on my 2001 GMC Sierra (original driver back rusted)

Perfect Fit: Shock Absorber

Fits perfectly on my 2004 Chevy Silverado. When bending, it is best to use a bench vise and vise. Place the vise handles next to the narrow end and your hand on the long end.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Requires Socket

As advertised but not recommended

This is what they advertised. But it would be better if they were factory bent instead of cut. And I don't know why they are galvanized. not suitable for welding. Anything to be welded must be bare metal, in which case they must be ground down for a proper weld. Ironically, their coating cost the company more money, but it would be more profitable if they were made from raw metal. I gave it a 3 because there are better options for the same price or better.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • Legacy
