Efficient and Versatile LORJE Flexible Bike Chain Whip Sprocket Removal Tool for Cycling Enthusiasts Review

I chose this item 100% for the price. On initial examination, this is a bicycle chain attached to a metal rod with a rubberized grip. All you have to do is hold the cassette in place while loosening the hub holding it in place. It's perfect for this task. I don't know how it compares to more expensive brands in weight and durability, but unless you're dealing with rusty or jammed parts I don't see it ever failing.

This chain whip worked great for me. With this chain whip I was able to easily change the disc sets for my mountain bike. For those who only use this a few times a year at most, this is a good choice. I doubt I'll find it at my local bike shop, but for $7 it worked and I expect to see it pop up a few more times. When I open my own bike shop I will buy something "famous" but until then I'm happy with this purchase.

Perfect fit for my very old Shimano cassette on my GT bike. I've had a heck of a lot of time with cranks and was worried the cassette would give me problems with an unknown brand holding tool, but this worked great. I wonder if these hard cassettes are older than mine or too small? I last replaced my wheel cassette with an LBS in 2006 so I believe they tightened it properly which made removal easier for me.
