This is not cross stitch as you will see many axes. It requires multiple types of stitches and a higher level of skill than a simple cross stitch. It's not clear why it's advertised that way.

I am buying these embroidery kits for my 85 year old mother. She found the quality of the fabric to be better than most, but the needle that came with it was wobbly and unusable. The thread was all cotton, which she likes, but it's a little trickier to pull.

Nice template to try. However, I never received the needles and didn't know what size to start with. Tapestry? Embroidery? . Thought it was complete! Sorry 😞 I wasted my time. Now you have to check comparable products to use or return them. 😥

The two main problems with this product (see photo): 1. Patterned ink stains from the slightest steam. It would be nice to mention in the instructions that you can't use steam to iron the folded canvas, which needs to be ironed before starting work, and more importantly 2. The image printed on the canvas is too large.
