Description of πŸ’» Revolutionize Your PC Setup with LOUQE Cobalt RC260 Twinax Gen4+ PCI-e 4.0 Riser Cable

Introducing our next generation, Cobalt Gen4+ PCI-e 4.0 16x twin axial 260 mm vertical mount riser, designed for maximum performance in the smallest of Mini-ITX cases. Delivers extreme bandwidth (28-112+ Gbps) per lane. Engineered for high performance while resistant to high temperatures, each copper conductor is silver-plated, then shielded inside a copper alloy, metalized barrier, and extruded jacket. Individually shielded strand design allows for better air ventilation and lowers working temperatures in small and tight places for better overall system performance. Fully compatible with PCI-e 4.0, and backwards compatible with PCI-e 3.0 peripherals.

100% Working Gen 4 Stand Ideal for FormD T1

This stand is the best I have ever used! I installed it in my FormD T1 and it works great at Gen4 speeds. It's like plugging my 3080 FE straight into the motherboard! The stand is so flexible and the perfect length! Because of the extra sag and riser flex, I can fit a larger radiator on my rear gen 4 m.2! It was so easy to thread this riser through my body compared to the standard thick, flat type. Airflow also increases due to single strands. In general, buy this riser, I know it costs more…

Pros
  • Computers and Accessories
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Not compatible with Thermaltake mounting plate.

I was excited about this as Thermaltake's available vertical cables are incredibly stiff and there is very little clearance between the PSU and the rackmount plate and it seemed a worthy alternative. catch? The mounting points on the circuit board do not match any of the possible clearance points on the adapter plate.

Expensive but no problems so far

Installed on my Aorus X570 motherboard with the latest bios. PCI-e is set to Gen 4 with a 3080 graphics card and booted on the first try. I haven't had any problems so far, BUT I haven't played with it yet. I will update if there are problems. It's working great at the moment.

Works great with B550 5600X and RTX3080

Installed in a ZS A4 V3 case with B550 5600X and RTX3080 and it worked great. The vertical cable that came with this ZS case is mostly junk. It won't even maintain a stable connection with Gen 3 settings with an old graphics card. This elevator is top notch.

  • Nice to use

Will not run PCIe Gen 3/4 on all 16 lanes. Bandwidth Bottleneck

This vertical cable does not support PCIe Gen 4.0 or 3.0 on all 16 lanes. I have x570 Godlike, 5950x and 3090 Hydro Copper. Massive FPS drops in Warzone with GPU-Z showing my 3090 with PCIe x8 in Gen 4.0 and 3.0. Switched back to my Corsair Gen 3.0 adapter and ran Warzone on PCIe x 16 Gen 3.0 with no issues.
