Fulfills the task for the playpen

The door hooks are very simple but awkward to use. The rubber stoppers are very small and my dog has already tried to bite them off, which poses a serious choking hazard unless we keep an eye on him. This pen does the job but not the best quality I've seen. Although the price is good

My dog was kept

The only thing that confused me about this product is that the bars at the bottom where the door starts are cut off and sharp. We had to put styrofoam on the threshold so my dog wouldn't cut himself. I left the cage through the door and scratched my leg. Now I have a scar on my toe. Sawing off the bars on the sill would also help, but that's a design flaw that needs to be considered when purchasing the item. It's a little bulky, but it's a great price for something that can hold a large dog.

Your dogs will feel great in them

I have two of these. One for my parents and one for me. Your dogs are fine in it, although we turned it upside down for them because the pups kept scratching their tummy trying to get across the bottom of the door, now it looks like a ceiling frame and it works Well. However, my pup learned very quickly that he could climb this thing like a ladder and run away behind the horizontal bars. So we ended up having to find another style without the horizontal stripes. lol Sneaky little dog.

Good construction, lousy door

This is a sturdy handle with an attractive black enamel finish. Pretty hard. Overall, I like the quality, except for one thing: the door latch is clunky and annoying to use. I use the door a lot, so this handle doesn't work for its intended purpose. I kept it because it's a quality pen, but I gave it a different job that doesn't require a door and ordered a different brand. As for the door, most handles have simple pop-bolt latches. This one looks the same but there is an extra hook at the end…

Happy dog, happy owner

Puppy came home at 7 weeks and is now 14 weeks old. Instead of a "box train" I did an "open box in the LD practice ring". So Higgins could choose between going into his cage or sleeping in his dog bed next to his crate. The space in this grip allowed for a pee pad for emergencies during exercise and a separate area for feeding and toy play. I installed it in the living room. This protects him when we have to leave him alone, but doesn't push him into the dog crate when he likes to stretch and…

Handy with tools Convert to box, add base and plate

Problems with this handle. The pen door section had the base of the door 6 inches high at the bottom and fully open at the top making the pen leak more than if there was a 3 inch top section and a 3 inch bottom section for the door and any pen door. Overlap. This 6 inch base also makes entering small dogs with a low abdominal lumen a bit awkward. The material of the clips that hold the pin sections together is flimsy and I had to tighten them right out of the box because they started to…

Useful, but somehow shaky with bad door locks

We have two of these playpens and use them to keep our dogs camping; We connect both handles together (using the hardware provided) so there is a lot more space for the dogs overall. The quality of these pens is okay. Given their height (48 inches) they don't appear to be very strong and care must be taken to ensure that at least most (preferably all) of the panels are secured to the ground. To make this possible, supplement the supplied pegs with tent pegs. However, the real weak point of the…
