Just what my snake tank needs.

I'm looking at a 150w heat lamp. We have a nice big snake tank that the 100 watt system we used just didn't keep enough heat in the tank. Switch to this 150W device and it seems to be helping some. Works well, no problems so far. Works as it should. highlighted.

Used in the greenhouse to heat plant boxes

These lamps work well in our greenhouse to help even out the nighttime temperatures. We have basil and tomatoes in bowls, these lights keep the air above them at around 60 degrees and are safer to use than an electric greenhouse heater. Be careful to use them in ceramic base lights as they get hot, lights with metal reflectors work best. I've tried various methods to keep our greenhouse above 50 degrees in winter as long as they work well.

I love these heat lamps!

I bought 75W. We just got a hedgehog and a leopard gecko and these lightbulbs are perfect for heating! Absolutely no light (no blue glow). There is enough heat to heat a 12 inch tall glass gecko tank to 85-88F on the hot side when the room temperature reaches 68F. A large plastic hedgehog tub with metal mesh on top (do not wear plastic) is about 16cm high and has a volume of over 100 liters. The room temperature is back to around 68°F, which brings it to our desired level of 75-76°F. I used a…
