Works great on a rod.

This is an amazing fish finder for the price. It's also fun to use. I tied it to my rod and started using it when my son and I go fishing. It's not difficult to use and quick and easy to set up. I can definitely recommend this sonar.

  • Great Price
Cons

Nice little fish finder - limited range, sonobuoy holes break easily

Nice little fish finder. But that's accurate, as far as you can tell, the range is limited. Also, the holes in the sonobuoy break easily, especially when you try to place a peg on it as recommended in the instruction manual. It would be a great product if it came with swivels already attached to the sonobuje and the range would be much longer. than, for example, 30 meters (+/-). The phone or computer is easy to use and intuitive to use. Good product but needs some improvement.

Great Fishing Advantage

Yesterday I took this LUCKY wireless fish finder out to the lake to test it out. I was very surprised to see that this fish finder actually works very well. It was very easy to set up. I changed the water temperature from C to F in the main menu. It could determine the depth of the water and also indicate when a fish was nearby. I attached it to the pole with a carabiner and threw it in the water. The sonar seems to work very well. This will be very useful for my next fishing trip. I would…

Fish tracks are ok, good for the depth but be careful with the antenna

I attached the wireless sensor to a folding pole with swivel as instructed in the instructions. This setup is perfect for us for fishing from the bank. There is essentially no facility. Charge, connect the battery and turn on the display. That's all. After a few seconds, the display will show data from the sensor. It's a very simple interface, similar to my dad's old Hummingbird. I noticed that the depth seems perfect but the fish identification is a little off. I noticed several times that he…

Good accurate fish finder

The Lucky fish finder was ordered to complement my freshwater fishing gear. I have never owned a sonar of this type. All mine were much more expensive and tied to the boat I owned. With that in mind, I wanted to use it on a few shallow lakes in my area. The product description states that it has an accurate depth of up to 147 feet. I don't normally fish at this depth, but it works well at 20ft. The display pretty much showed what was under the sensor. I was wondering if it shows some underwater

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • So so
