Based on our own experience, these shock absorbers from the Struts & Suspension category are a great addition to any automotive vehicle. The improved ride quality and handling make a significant difference in the overall driving experience. The electric compatibility is also a plus, allowing for added convenience. Your life is hard enough, don't do what I've done

COVID, the fact that it's hard, dirty and potentially dangerous work, and my propensity to procrastinate have led me to make the exchange delay as long as possible. I've just spent the last 2 days wrestling with them to find out they're not an exact replacement for the Escalade 07-14 with Electronic/Magnetic Ride Control. They are about 1.5 cm taller. Get what you pay for.

I bought these to fit a 2011 commuter as a "direct replacement" for the stock electronically damped shock absorbers. The processing quality does not correspond to the original. The spring retainer plate is not welded, but is instead held in place by a retaining ring, allowing the plate to move under the weight of the spring and vehicle, which can be dangerous.
