I wanted a weighted blanket without worrying about weight distribution or overheating. This one fits the bill! I bought a 12 lb version (I weigh 120 lbs). The ideal weight to help me fall asleep. Not too heavy or bulky to move under. But it fits perfectly on the body. The material stays cool even in hot weather. (I didn't buy the cover) Would recommend to anyone who wants to try weighted blankets for themselves as the price is quite cheap.

I love this duvet. I bought another one from a different brand on Amazon but the stitching wasn't quite right and I also heard beads when I moved the blanket. It's amazing, the weight is evenly distributed and covers my whole body. I don't use it every night, but I use it on the nights when I can't sleep for half an hour or when I start tossing and turning. I hold it on the edge of the bed and pull it over the covers. It's perfect and feels like a full body hug! Trust me it works!
