The slices were too thick. A fat piece of cake tastes better than a fat piece of spam. The thickness of the slice should be adjustable.

This is my second food slicer. The first one broke because I put it in the dishwasher and the heat made it brittle. Hand wash is best. This works very well.

I've used this for spam, boiled potatoes, hot dogs to make pennies for hot dogs, boiled carrots and a whole host of other foods when I needed slices. I made small squares out of spam for frying and adding to other products. I'm really impressed with how well this works.
