You have a view. but overpriced

We did a complete renovation and invested so much in our home that we spend a few extra dollars to keep it looking good. And these cases do. But at a price that, in my opinion, is incompatible with the cost of production. They're not that difficult to put on, but if you need to take them off for any reason, you'll need to be careful not to break the flanges holding the bezel on the back while you're only unscrewing one panel on most systems. to remove. I had to fiddle a bit with the…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly dented

If your drywall or other formwork is flat then it looks good and I think it's worth the extra cost. If the drywall gasket around the existing panel isn't the best, or you have old working junction boxes (like the ones you stick in the wall and attach to the wall after the drywall is already installed) they most likely won't sit level. on the wall, as an uneven surface or a slightly protruding box makes this difficult. I'm more of a perfectionist than some, but the flexibility of unbreakable…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

  • Great price

Sleek, modern looking switch covers that are a bit difficult to remove

These wall plates completely hide screws for a sleek, modern look. They work great with all of my Lutron Caseta switches and are very easy to install. The design allows you to access the actual junction box screws underneath this faceplate during installation, so you can adjust their position to align everything before tightening everything up. The only difficulty with this bezel is that it can be difficult to remove the outer cover without damaging it. You just have to be very careful while…

  • An absolute legend

Conforms well to uneven walls

I really like Claro's screwless wall plates. As with all paddle shifters, make sure the switch body is parallel to the wall and that wire pressure is not causing the switch body to tilt left or right. After aligning and loosening the switches parallel to the wall, attach the baseplate and then adjust the baseplate to the wall by tightening or loosening the screws that secure the switches in the backbox. Once the base plate is snug against the wall, the panel snaps into place. The interesting…

Helps align switches, easy to align

In a house where the wiring was pretty crazy** and I had to replace the switches, this plate made alignment a lot easier by having a few switches lift, straighten Line them up and set them to the same depth so they don't look stupid. There are two separate parts; The plate on the bottom has small screws that attach to the switches, but there are also screw holes that attach to the electrical box, which is a huge improvement over traditional plates. Therefore, while I began tightening the…

  • Very expensive
